Today at lunch I texted Jared something along the lines of, “AHHH!!” ….It has been a rough week trying to teach AND great ready for Christmas! …They have officially forgotten how to do everything I have taught them so far …All they care about is Santa! Well, my wonderful husband suddenly showed up in my classroom at 2:30pm today!! We got them all packed up and ready to go, then he read them Christmas stories for the rest of the day. He is my hero…and I think some of the kids love him too…they loved having him read to them…One little boy is having his birthday on Monday and he kept asking if Mr. Leiman could come to that too. 
Yay for the best husband ever!!!

Yesterday we had a Dance Fundraiser…While it may not have gone exactly as planned, it was still a great success since more than half of the school showed up!!! The teachers now each officially have their first budget for Science & Classroom Supplies!!!
Today we had a half day…I love those!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I love Scholastic Book Clubs! I was able to get all of my kids 2 books for Christmas for less than $20 total!!! They are all wrapped up and ready to go! A month ahead of time! Whoo hoo!!
Hugs! …& Laundry!

I have one student who will randomly ask at certain point in the day, “Mrs. Leiman, can I have a hug?” It is the most precious thing!!! …And at the end of the day most of my kids will come up to hug me. It doesn’t matter how much trouble they may have been all day- I still love it when they want to give me a hug at the end of the day! So precious!
On a different note… today was actually a rough day and I called my husband half way through the day to share my frustrations. Well, being the amazing man that he is…I walked in the door tonight to find that he did all of my laundry & is taking me on a date!!! …Bad days are always made better once I’m with him! Thank God for such an amazing husband!!!

My room is usually VERY hot…but I finally figured out where the thermostat is located for my room and now, even on a warm day like today (82 degrees!) it was nice and cool in my room!!!!

EVERYONE in my class got a 100 on their spelling test!!! Most of them got the bonus word correct too!!!! YAY!!! …Ice cream party next Friday!
